James Pitter

James studied Creative Writing, Screenwriting for Film & TV and Writing for Theatre at the University of the Arts and Birkbeck University in London. Endorsed by Television Arts Performance Showcase (TAPS) as a creative voice to watch, he was selected from 2,000 entrants to attend a networking event attended by industry professionals. Screencraft gave positive feedback for his short screenplay ‘He That Cast The Stone’ and a 10-minute stage play, ‘The Subway Strangler’, was performed on the London Fringe. Other screenplays by James Pitter include ‘The Shadow Behind The Lens’, recently submitted to the Austin Film Festival, and feature-length screenplays ‘For The Love Of A Sinner’ and ‘The Art Of Deception’. He published a book of short stories called ‘Beyond The Rainbow's End’ that received good reviews and wrote ‘Searching For Tibby’ which featured in ‘No Bounds: An Anthology of Short Fiction. In addition to screenwriting, James works in the design industry, providing clients with creative solutions and copyrighting services. James is currently looking for representation.
